Idea
As a white person, if I am getting into line at Walmart (ect). and a person of color is approaching the line as well I believe the right thing to do is to let them get in front of me. Even if I am a bit closer to start with, I make sure never to stand in front of them as I know this behavior subconsciously perpetuates racism.
I feel that simple gestures like this are the least I can do to make up for hundreds of years of oppression my ancestors have put POC through. I suggest all white people do the same.
